Guidelines for post-treatment care:

  • For best results, do not touch, rub, or manipulate the treated area for 6 hours after the injection.

  • Avoid vigorous activity or exercise for several days.

  • Avoid facial or chemical peel for 14 days.

  • Apply sunscreen daily and avoid direct sun or heat.

  • Do not take NSAIDS 2 weeks prior to treatment and 5 days after to decrease the incidence of bruising.

  • Avoid Alcoholic beverages

  • We recommend avoiding rubbing or massaging the treated area for the first 48 hours after treatment. Those who receive lip enhancements should avoid puckering their lips for up to two days after treatment. We also advise patients to avoid exposing the area to extreme heat or cold until swelling and redness has subsided.
